Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 5% Syrah, 2% Malbec and Petite Verdot
Deep garnet in color. Vibrant layers of brambly dark berry, cassis, bay and mocha. Rich and concentrated with flavors of blackberry, dark cherry, chocolate and cassis. Good structure and well-balanced, with fine-grained tannins and a long finish of cassis and sweet vanilla notes.
Wine Enthusiast – December 2009
Rated 90 Points
“A beautiful Cabernet, rich and mellow, and drinking well now. Shows soft tannins and smoky oak framing blackberry, cherry, cocoa, herb and spice flavors.”
Awards: San Diego International Wine Competition – 2010 Platinum Medal Winner
Concha Y Toro Marques Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
Colour: Deep red.
Nose: Unctuous cherry, cassis, cedar, blackberry, black tar and smoke-led presence. Tight and focused with a deep concentration of flavors framed by firm tannins.
Palate. A smooth, almost silky texture masks the firm tannic structure beneath, which really comes to the fore at the beginning of the long finish.
Cellaring Potential: Drink now to 2015.
Layer Cake Wine Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
Winemaking Notes: We fermented this using hand punch downs and gentle pumpovers; then transferring some to French oak for aging. The biggest structured, most powerful lots were put into new French oak for aging to balance the tannins and extract the rich flavors from the barrique. Some lots that would benefit from the softening effect of time in oak were put into French barrels that were used to age. By carefully blending the different lots, varying oak types and different vineyard lots, we created a balanced and complex wine.
Tasting Notes: Beautiful deep garnet color. Aromas of blackberry, cassis, violets, cedar, tobacco, and hints of minerals and graphite. Sweet, densely packed and creamy in the mouth, but with firm, underlying structure that gives lift to the dark berry, chocolate, and coffee flavors. This is a very lush, soft, complex wine that coats the palate and spreads out on the long, lingering finish.

B.R. Cohn Silver Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
The 2008 Silver Label Cabernet Sauvignon reflects a blending of grapes grown from the B.R. Cohn Olive Hill Estate Vineyards and select North Coast Cabernet vineyards. This combination offers full, rich flavors of berry, cassis and black cherry with hints of vanilla in the background.
Aging with French oak adds complexity and depth, resulting in a high quality Cabernet Sauvignon with great value. I hope you enjoy this wine as much as my family and I do.
Ferrari Carano Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
Our mountain vines are dry farmed in shallow, rocky, low-vigor soil that add impressive depth and concentration of flavors to the wine. The season began with a dry winter, then frost in the spring followed by drought, and then wind and heat in the summer and early fall. A cooling trend brought a moderate ending to fall, and we picked the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes the first two weeks of October.
This wine is composed of primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, blended with small amounts of Syrah and Petit Verdot. The hand harvested grapes enter the gravity flow winery and are hand sorted, then whole berries are gravity fed into tanks for fermenting before pressing. Individual lots are moved to barrels for malolactic fermentation, then blended and barrel aged for 18 months and aged an additional nine months in bottle, allowing for the perfect balance of fruit, tannin and oak.

Joseph Carr Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
This 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon was handpicked at the peak of flavor development then crushed and cold soaked for 24 hours.
The wine was punched down three times a day to maximize flavor extraction, followed by a 10-15 day maceration period and then barrel aged for 16-18 months in 1 and 2 year old French and American oak; 33% new, 65% French: Allier, Nevers, Tronçais.
Harvest began September 12, 2009 and finished October 28, 2009. Vineyard sources include Rutherford, Stags Leap District, Pritchard Hill and Red Hills.
This wine displays a deep purple hue, and has great clarity for wine that is traditionally unfiltered. The bouquet offers scents of ripe black currant, smoke and saddle. Flavors include dark cherry and ripe plum with a hint of vanilla and cocoa dust. Firm, but approachable tannin structure accents a balanced and long finish.

337 Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
The 337 Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 exhibits enticing aromas of toffee, black cherry and currant. Balanced tannins underscore core flavors of black cherry, blackberry, and currant, interlaced with roasted coffee bean and hints of black pepper.
This Cabernet Sauvignon can be enjoyed on its own or matches well with braised meats.
